About Frey Software - the company behind Radio Tutor
Manuel Frey founded Frey Software as a sole proprietorship in May 2003. While the focus was initially on the individual question catalogues, the emphasis was increasingly placed on the development of radio simulations for recreational boating. With great attention to detail, Manuel Frey and Alex Sautner developed the first version of SRC-Tutor. The software was supplemented by LRC-Tutor IV
Mr Sautner left the company at the beginning of 2023. At the same time, the development of the new web-enabled version of the radio simulation began. The development was supplemented by several experienced freelancers.
Another major change occurred in July 2024 with the death of Thomas Frey. Until then, Mr Frey had looked after you as a customer for many years and was always the first point of contact for questions, orders and support. Since then, Manuel Frey has been your contact person
In May 2025, the time had finally come and Frey Software was able to release the first beta version of the new web-based version. The entire development team is delighted to be able to present this version to you. And you can be sure that we have more than enough ideas for further development.
